A PCUV open-door event aiming to raise awareness of the Science Park's facilities and of its business and scientific potential for the wider community.
This annual event is intended to be a day of activities combining fun with the promotion of science and business, in a relaxed atmosphere and with activities suitable for all ages.
In the 2009 edition guided visits were organised to some of the more impressive science and technology facilities, with activities such as: the "Aula del Cel" planetarium, a workshop on how to extract DNA, how to create fluorescent nanoparticles, and riding the biggest roller coaster in the galaxy in the Robotic Institute's 3D simulator. Visitors were also able to try Valencian wines and take part in a tasting of new functional foods obtained from tiger nuts, to demonstrate the added value of R&D and innovation for both traditional and newly emerging economic sectors.
