The Foundation

The University of Valencia Science Park Foundation (FPCUV) was formally set up on 9 March 2009. It is a private and general interest foundation set up under the auspices and protection of the Generalitat Valenciana (the regional government) and with the patronage of the Bancaja Foundation, Banco Santander, the Valencia Chamber of Commerce, the Valencia Business Confederation and the University of Valencia

This foundation is the managing body of the University of Valencia Science Park and its main basic objectives are:

•    To promote technological development, knowledge transfer and industrial innovation.
•    To drive forward research into topics of social importance at regional, national and international level.
•    To set up cooperation between University of Valencia research groups and companies.
•    To create new innovative companies by facilitating alliances with strategic partners.
•    To set up the Science Park with its spaces, facilities and services.
•    To strengthen the transfer and dissemination of the results of university research activity.
•    To contribute, through technological enhancement and innovation, to improving companies' competitive edge and the development of the Valencian Community.

Science Park Foundation patrons obtain increased corporate reputation and the option to have priority access to the Science Park facilities.

Any company or institution can be a patron of the Science Park Foundation on request and subsequent to approval by the Governing Board.
