Margarita del Val holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences, specialising in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and is a research scientist at the CSIC. The talk she will give, Immunology of pandemics for uninitiated people, is divided into three parts: the Sars-CoV-2 virus, our immune system and, finally, immunity to other coronaviruses.
